Albrecht of Federal Agency on Health Care and Social Development” – has a children’s department. Here, small patients with birth defects of locomotor system and permanent injuries are cured. Most of them are children's home inmates. Some of the kids come here for surgery repeatedly. Not far from the center a horse stable is situated, and the girls who take care of the horses are always happy to welcome small patients. |
» Flood on Neva No 302 (10.01.2007)From news: Strong wind always brings lot of inconvenience to town and village dwellers. It drops down power transmission line towers, tears huge advertisement hoardings, uproots trees. Besides, it may considerably raise the water level. That is exactly the situation which occurred today in Saint Petersburg, where the 302nd flood was registered at 11 a.m. Meteorologists explain the sudden rise in the water level of Neva by the squally wind. They also predict that its blasts may reach twenty meters per second. According to water measurements of Neva, the water level reached a peak of 221 centimeters at 3:21 p.m. and began a slow decline. The photographs were taken in the evening, within hour and half, during gentle decrease. |
