Was born in Leningrad in 1963. Graduated from school in 1980 and worked at LAFOKI (Photo Laboratory at the Academy of Sciences of  USSR) for one year. From 1981 to 1985 worked at Leningrad Zoo. In 1985-1990 was an employee at the Znamya Oktyabrya factory. Later on was occupied with various commercial projects. In 2004-2006 took a position as the head of information department at Leningrad Zoo. Since 2008 has been the director of the M-Art International Center of Cultural Programs. Founded the original photo courses the same year.

A member of the Union of Photo Artists of Russia.

The Saint-Petersburg Vedomosti, Rossiyskaya Gazeta, Smena, Vecherny Petersburg, Komsomolskaya Pravda, Metro, Sobaka.ru, Petersburg Theatre Magazine, Afisha, TimeOut Petersburg, Gaudeamus, Strastnoy Boulevard and others. The photographs were used in TV commercials on the STO and VOT channels.

Cooperated with Ford, Bosch, Dirol Cadbury, April 4^th creative studio, Bereg art center, Author's Theatre, CheloVEK, Derevo, Аhе theatres and others.

Photographs from concerts and theatre plays were used in designing tear sheets, CD/DVD and other presentation media.
